As the world teeters on the brink of catastrophic destruction, a group of astronauts and scientists must band together to prevent the unthinkable from occurring. Moonfall is a gripping thriller that delves into the unknown, exploring themes of science, faith, and humanity's place in the universe. The film opens with a sudden and inexplicable phenomenon: the moon, once a steady and constant presence in the Earth's orbit, has been knocked out of its path and sent hurtling towards our planet at an alarming rate. As panic spreads globally, NASA scientist Joanne Archer (Halle Berry) is recruited by the agency to lead a team of experts on a perilous mission to save the world. Archer's crew consists of astronaut Brian Green (Patrick Wilson), who has personal demons to confront during their journey; computer expert Kofi (John Bradley); and Maya Sullavan (Euan Morton), an engineer with a deep understanding of celestial mechanics. As they embark on their quest, the team faces formidable challenges: treacherous space debris, solar flares, and the very real possibility that they may not return to Earth alive. Meanwhile, back on the planet, a diverse group of characters must navigate the chaos caused by the moon's impending impact. These include a grieving mother (Karen Gillan) struggling to protect her family; a cynical journalist (Liev Schreiber) seeking to expose the truth behind the catastrophe; and a charismatic leader (Donald Sutherland) who claims to have a solution to save humanity. As the stakes grow higher, the teams on both Earth and in space must confront their own personal struggles and biases. Will they be able to put aside their differences and work together to prevent the moon from crashing into our planet? Or will it be too late, and the world succumb to the devastating consequences of Moonfall?
