Here is the plot summary of the movie Only You: In this romantic comedy, Faith Corvatch (Marisa Tomei) has been convinced since childhood that her true love is a man named Damon Bradley. Despite having grown up and moved on with her life, Faith still holds onto this notion, even as she prepares to settle down and marry Dr. Philip D'Arabland (Robert Carlyle), a kind but unremarkable foot doctor. When Faith's best friend, Kate (Edward Burns), convinces her to take a trip to Rome for her 30th birthday, Faith sees it as the perfect opportunity to finally meet her soulmate Damon Bradley, who is rumored to be living in Italy. Impulsively, Faith decides to book a hotel room overlooking the Trevi Fountain, where she hopes to catch a glimpse of Damon. Upon arrival in Rome, Faith meets Peter Wright (Christian Slater), an American writer who is also searching for his own true love, and together they embark on a whirlwind adventure through the city.
