Lust, Caution is a 2007 spy thriller film directed by Ang Lee, based on the novella of the same name by Eileen Chang. The story takes place during World War II, in the midst of Japanese occupation in Shanghai. Wang Jie (Tang Wei), a young and beautiful university student, becomes involved with a group of anti-Japanese activists who seek to overthrow the puppet government established by the Japanese.
