It Happened Tomorrow (1944) tells the story of Eddie Post, a young and ambitious journalist working for the New York Daily News. Eddie's life takes an unexpected turn when he stumbles upon a mysterious edition of tomorrow's paper, which has somehow been published today. Initially thrilled by this newfound power, Eddie uses his knowledge to gain an edge in his reporting, making him a star reporter almost overnight. However, as Eddie becomes more and more reliant on the advance information, he starts to face a series of problems that threaten to derail his career and personal life. His new girlfriend, Corinne, is part of a phony clairvoyant act, using her supposed psychic abilities to fleece unsuspecting marks out of their money.
