In the eerie town of Halloween Town, where skeletons and ghosts come alive on All Hallows' Eve, Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King, is feeling a sense of routine and boredom. Every year, he's stuck in the same old routine: scaring humans with his ghastly gang and their bag of tricks. Seeking something more exciting, Jack stumbles upon Christmas Town, a winter wonderland filled with joy, cheer, and presents. Entranced by this new world, Jack becomes obsessed with Christmas, convinced that it's the perfect holiday to conquer and add to his own Halloween traditions. He decides to kidnap Santa Claus, determined to take over the role of delivering gifts on Christmas Eve. However, things don't quite go according to plan. Jack's attempts to improve upon Christmas result in chaos and confusion. His shrunken heads, which he plans to deliver as gifts, are met with disgust and horror by the children who receive them. Meanwhile, Sally, a rag doll created by the mad scientist Dr. Finkelstein, becomes increasingly concerned about Jack's antics and tries to warn him of the potential consequences. As Christmas Eve approaches, Jack's obsession with Christmas reaches a fever pitch.
