Detroit Rock City (1999) is a comedy film that takes place on the eve of a KISS concert in 1978. The story revolves around four teenage friends, Jimmy (Nigel Hawthorne), Henry (Giuseppe Andrews), Alex (Matthew Curtner), and Peter (Edward Furlong), who are obsessed with the iconic rock band. The trio's lives revolve around preparing for the sold-out show at Cobo Hall in Detroit, Michigan.
