Hellraiser: Bloodline is a 1996 American horror film directed by Kevin Yagher and Don Davis. The eighth installment in the Hellraiser franchise, it follows three generations of the Lacey family as they struggle to contain the evil forces unleashed by their ancestors. The story begins with Captain Morton (Bruce Ramsay), an ambitious and ruthless sea captain who becomes obsessed with unlocking the secrets of the mysterious puzzle box known as the Lament Configuration. Unbeknownst to him, his curiosity awakens Pinhead and his Cenobite minions, who begin to toy with him in a series of gruesome and sadistic games. His daughter, Kristin (Tobin Bell), becomes entangled in a web of supernatural horror and gore when she discovers her own connection to the Cenobites. Meanwhile, in another timeline, Harry D'Amour (Doug Bradley) - the same detective who encountered Pinhead in Hellraiser II - is tasked with investigating a series of bizarre murders linked to an ancient cult. As he delves deeper into the mystery, he discovers that the Lacey family's dark past is connected to his own destiny. Throughout the film, the storylines converge and diverge as each generation of the Lacey family grapples with the consequences of unleashing hell on earth. As the Cenobites continue to wreak havoc, the characters must confront their own mortality and the true nature of evil. Hellraiser: Bloodline is a dark, gory, and unsettling exploration of the supernatural and the horrors that await those who meddle with forces beyond human control.
