In 1994's "The Specialist", May Munro (Sharon Stone) has spent years honing her skills and building a network of contacts in order to exact revenge on the people responsible for the brutal murder of her parents when she was just a child. With a clear-eyed determination, May sets out to take down the men who destroyed her family and left her with a lifetime of emotional scars. Her plan hinges on recruiting Ray Quick (Sylvester Stallone), a retired explosives expert with a troubled past, to help her eliminate her parent's killers. Initially hesitant, Ray is eventually won over by May's conviction and the promise of financial compensation. As they begin their mission, May and Ray form an unlikely bond, with Ray serving as both partner and mentor to May. Despite his tough exterior, Ray has a deep sense of empathy for May's plight, and together they concoct a plan to take down the powerful crime lord behind her parent's murder, Eduardo Hernandez (Eric Roberts).
