In the campy 1973 Mexican film "Santo and Blue Demon vs. Dr. Frankenstein," a sinister plot unfolds when innocent women are kidnapped and subjected to a gruesome brain transplant experiment. The mastermind behind this heinous scheme is none other than the infamous Dr. Frankenstein, who seeks to perfect his operation and bring back his beloved monster. As the victims' bodies begin to pile up, luchador legends Santo and Blue Demon receive a distress call from their friend, the lovely Lola, who has stumbled upon Dr. Frankenstein's lair while searching for her missing sister. The two masked heroes spring into action, determined to put an end to the doctor's nefarious plans. Upon arriving at the lair, Santo and Blue Demon find themselves face-to-face with Dr. Frankenstein's monstrous creations: a trio of hulking, brain-transplanted behemoths. As they battle these ghoulish giants, the duo discovers that the women are being used as test subjects for the doctor's operation, which involves switching their brains with those of other unsuspecting victims. As Santo and Blue Demon fight to stop Dr. Frankenstein, they also must contend with his loyal legion of zombie-like minions, who seem to be driven by a strange urge to dance the twist. The film's climax features an epic showdown between our heroes and Dr. Frankenstein himself, as well as his monstrous creations.
