In the drab and unassuming world of retail, Justine (Jennifer Aniston) finds herself stuck in a rut as a cashier at a local discount store. Her life is a series of monotonous routines, devoid of excitement or passion. That is until she meets Hank (Jake Gyllenhaal), a charming and idealistic stock boy who has taken to seeing himself as the reincarnation of Holden Caulfield from J.D.
