Sabotage is a 2014 action-thriller film directed by David Ayer. The movie follows John "Breacher" Wharton (Arnold Schwarzenegger), a seasoned DEA agent who leads an elite task force known as the "Tactical Response Unit". Breacher's team, comprising of his trusted lieutenants and operatives, including Eddie "Neon" Marzano (Gore Torry), Craig "Harris" Harris (Sam Worthington), Lázaro "Laz" Quinteros (Owen Wilson), Kristofer "Creamsicle" Kristof (Terrence Howard), Joe "Grinder" Phillips (Joe Manganiello), and Sofia Koufayel (Mireille Enos), are tasked with taking down the world's most notorious drug cartels. The team successfully executes a high-stakes raid on a cartel safe house, capturing key players and seizing a significant amount of illegal drugs. However, things take a turn for the worse when Breacher's team is ambushed during their escape, resulting in the death of one of their own members, Lizzy (Sonny Puzieux). As the team returns to Los Angeles to regroup and process the loss, they begin to realize that someone within their ranks may be working against them. The tension builds as they start to suspect each other of being involved in a series of bizarre and violent events that are seemingly designed to disrupt their operations. As Breacher's trust in his team begins to erode, he becomes convinced that one of his own operatives is the mole behind the sabotage. With his team on the brink of collapse, Breacher must use all his skills and experience to uncover the truth and bring the traitor to justice before it's too late. Throughout the film, Ayer weaves together a complex web of intrigue, deception, and betrayal, as the team is forced to confront their own demons and question everything they thought they knew about each other. With its non-stop action sequences, intense hand-to-hand combat scenes, and pulse-pounding suspense, Sabotage is a gripping thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.
