The Thin Man

Plot

In the 1934 film classic "The Thin Man," Nick Charles (William Powell) and his wife Nora (Myrna Loy) are a high-society couple who have settled into a comfortable life of leisure after the death of Nick's father. However, their lives take an unexpected turn when they receive an invitation from their old friend, Dorothy Hunter (Elizabeth Patterson), to meet her at a party. At the party, they meet the eccentric and reclusive inventor, Earl Carroll (Harry Stubbs), who has just announced his engagement to Dorothy.
