Plot
In the Taiwanese romantic drama "Tayuan," Ella (played by Lee Sin-Jie) is a meticulous event planner who always relies on private transportation services for her daily commute. However, one day she finds herself forced to take a bus due to unexpected circumstances, and it's here that she crosses paths with Rico (Hsieh Chia-Hsien), the charismatic conductor of the Tayuan Bus Company. As Ella navigates the crowded bus, she inadvertently gets pressed up against Rico, causing him to become noticeably flustered. Despite the initial awkwardness, the two begin to strike up a conversation, and Ella finds herself drawn to Rico's easygoing nature and genuine interest in her life. As they continue to chat, Rico reveals his passion for music and his dreams of becoming a successful musician, which resonates deeply with Ella. As their conversations become more frequent and candid, Ella begins to open up about her own struggles and insecurities, including her difficulty connecting with people on a deeper level due to her intense focus on work.
