Plot
In the sequel to National Treasure, National Treasure: Book of Secrets, treasure hunter Benjamin Franklin Gates (Nicolas Cage) is once again on the hunt for historical secrets. This time, he and his partner Abigail Chase (Diane Kruger) are joined by their friend Riley Poole (Justin Bartha), as they delve into a mystery surrounding John Wilkes Booth's diary. The adventure begins when Ben receives a cryptic message from his father, Patrick Gates, who is on death row for allegedly stealing the Declaration of Independence.
