Plot
Jeepers Creepers is a 2001 American horror film written by Victor Salva and directed by him as well. The story takes place in rural Ohio, where two siblings, Trish (Gina Philips) and Darry (Justin Long), are driving home from college after a visit to their father. As they navigate through the desolate countryside on Route 117, they come across an old, abandoned church and decide to explore it. Inside, they find a series of bizarre and disturbing symbols etched into the walls, which seem to be some sort of ritualistic markings. Unbeknownst to them, these symbols are actually part of a gruesome ceremony being conducted by the film's antagonist, The Creeper (Ray Wise). The Creeper is an ancient creature that awakens every 23 years to feed on human flesh during its preferred hunting season - the warm months when humans are more active. With its razor-sharp claws and teeth, it begins to stalk Trish and Darry as they leave the church, targeting them for its midnight snack. As night falls, the siblings find themselves trapped in a series of terrifying confrontations with The Creeper, which becomes increasingly aggressive and desperate as its hunger grows. With no cell phone signal to call for help, they must rely on their wits and resourcefulness to survive against this monstrous predator.
