Plot
In 1943, a wealthy and reclusive Mexican businessman named Julián Santana Barrera created an eerie and fascinating doll-filled island on the shores of Lake Texcoco in Mexico City. Over time, the island became a popular tourist attraction, attracting visitors from around the world. The film "Island of the Dolls" follows a group of people who venture to this mysterious island, driven by their morbid curiosity about the numerous dolls and mannequins that are scattered throughout its abandoned buildings and crumbling infrastructure.
