In the 1997 family-friendly comedy "Flubber", Professor Phillip Brainard, played by Robin Williams, is a well-meaning but slightly absent-minded scientist at Medfield College. He is on the verge of a groundbreaking discovery with his trusty assistant, Weebo, a robot who has a penchant for getting into trouble.
