In a world where global communication has been disrupted, the few remaining settlements are struggling to survive. The once-thriving metropolises have become desolate wastelands, devoid of human connection. Amidst this apocalyptic backdrop, a small enclave in Eastern Europe remains inexplicably illuminated, its electric power humming along like a beacon of hope. Rumors of life beyond the darkness begin to surface, as whispers from space hint at the possibility of other survivors. Desperate for answers and resources, military forces set out to investigate this anomaly. Led by Captain Thompson (Henry Ian Cusick), a seasoned commander driven by duty and curiosity, they venture into the unknown. As they approach the mysterious zone, the team discovers that the source of the power is a small, self-sustaining community. The residents of this isolated pocket have managed to create their own microcosm, where electricity flows and life thrives. However, this oasis is not without its challenges.
