In 1972, a group of skilled and charismatic thieves from Youngstown, Ohio embark on a daring plan to pull off the largest bank heist in American history. The team, led by a man known only as "The Captain," has been planning this job for months, studying the security measures at the United California Bank in Los Angeles. Their target is a massive vault containing $30 million in illegal campaign contributions, which they aim to steal and distribute among their own networks. As the heist approaches, tensions within the team begin to rise. Each member brings their own unique skills and personalities to the table, from the smooth-talking "Walter" to the tech-savvy "Bobby."
