In the heartwarming animated film "Turbo," a tiny but big-hearted garden snail named Theo (voiced by Ryan Reynolds) has a dream that's simply too fast to ignore - he wants to win the Indianapolis 500. Growing up in a small vegetable patch, Turbo is fascinated by the world of professional racing and its legendary drivers. Along the way, he meets a team of quirky and lovable characters, including Tito (voiced by Michael Peña), a taco shop owner who becomes Turbo's mentor and friend; Maria (voiced by Maya Rudolph), a beautiful snail who becomes Turbo's love interest; and Whiplash (voiced by Bill Hader), a cocky and arrogant racing driver who becomes Turbo's arch-nemesis. As Turbo navigates the world of professional racing, he faces numerous challenges and setbacks. Despite these obstacles, his determination and perseverance inspire those around him, including his new friends in the racing community.
