The Lookout is a 2007 American thriller film that tells the story of Chris Pratt (played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt), a former high school star athlete who suffers a devastating accident that leaves him with a severe spinal cord injury. The incident not only takes away his physical abilities but also shatters his self-confidence and sense of identity. As Chris navigates his new reality, he becomes increasingly withdrawn and isolated, struggling to come to terms with the loss of his athletic career and his former life. In an attempt to regain some semblance of normalcy, Chris lands a job as a janitor at a bank, where he meets a group of eccentric coworkers who become his only friends.
