In "The Expendables 2", Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) is back to his old tricks, reuniting with his team of mercenaries - Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Yin Yang (Jet Li), Hale Ceaser (Terry Crews), Toll Road (Randy Couture), and Gunner Jensen (Dolph Lundgren) - for what they think will be a simple job. Mr. Church (Bruce Willis), their old friend and benefactor, has brought them in to steal a shipment of valuable data disks from the nefarious villain, Jean Vilain (Jean-Claude Van Damme). However, things take a deadly turn when one of their own men, Maggie (Nan Yu), is brutally murdered by Vilain's henchmen. The team quickly turns their mission into a quest for revenge, taking them deep into enemy territory and pitting them against an army of ruthless mercenaries. As they navigate the treacherous terrain, the Expendables face off against some formidable foes, including Vilain's right-hand man, Harker (Scott Adkins), and a group of heavily armed and highly trained soldiers. Along the way, they also uncover a sinister plot to start a global conflict, which only adds to their determination to take down Vilain and his cohorts.
