As Sam's spirit fails to move on to the afterlife, he becomes trapped between the world of the living and the afterlife. Desperate to communicate with Molly, who is devastated by his death, Sam enlists the help of a mischievous medium, Oda Mae Brown. With Oda Mae's guidance, Sam's ghostly form begins to make its presence known to Molly.
