In "Drillbit Taylor", three awkward high school freshmen, Ike Graham (Owen Wilson), Zach Martin (Nathan Fillion), and Ronnie Greenbaum (Alexis Dziena), are desperate to escape the torment of their intimidating classmate, Donald McClung (Daniel Thornton). Frustrated with the ineffectiveness of their parents' attempts to intervene, they take matters into their own hands by hiring a dubious bodyguard named Drillbit Taylor (Owen Wilson). At first glance, Drillbit appears to be a seasoned and confident security expert, boasting an impressive array of high-tech gadgets and an imposing physique. However, unbeknownst to the trio, Drillbit is actually a homeless vagrant who has been living on the streets for months. He sees the job as a means to earn some quick cash and perhaps turn his fortunes around. As Drillbit begins his training regimen with the trio, he quickly proves himself to be more bumbling than brilliant.
