Here's the movie summary: In the heartwarming comedy "The Rocker," we meet Robert "Fish" Fishman (Rainn Wilson), a talented but troubled drummer who had his moment in the spotlight in the 1980s. Fish was part of a band called A.D.D., which was on the cusp of stardom before they were cruelly abandoned by their lead singer, Peter Cane (Chris Cole). The group's demise left Fish feeling rejected and forgotten. Twenty years later, Fish is still stuck in his past, working as an accountant at a middle school. His life takes a dramatic turn when he discovers that the band he loved to hate, Vesuvius, has reunited for one final tour. But here's the twist: their original drummer has left them high and dry, leaving Vesuvius scrambling to find a new beatkeeper. Enter Fish, who sees this as his chance to redeem himself and finally get the recognition he deserves.
