In the heartwarming and humorous film "Holes," Stanley Yelnats IV, a teenager with a string of bad luck, finds himself wrongfully convicted of stealing a pair of shoes and sent to Camp Green Lake, a juvenile detention facility in the middle of the Texas desert. The camp's sadistic and cruel warden, Madame Zeroni, forces the boys to dig holes every day, believing that it will help them build character and become better people.
