Assault on Precinct 13 is a 1976 American action thriller film directed by John Carpenter. The story takes place on New Year's Eve, as the Precinct 13 police station in Los Angeles prepares to be closed down for good. Officer Jake Roenick (Ethan Harvey), a tough and no-nonsense cop, finds himself trapped inside the precinct with a motley crew of colleagues and prisoners, including a group of hardened criminals.
