As the colonization ship Covenant embarks on its mission to settle a new home, the crew encounters an uncharted planet that appears to be a utopia. Led by Daniels (Billy Crudup) and Captain Oram (Karl Urban), the team discovers signs of humanoid life, including footprints and a crashed spaceship. Their excitement is short-lived, as they soon realize that this supposedly idyllic world is actually a nightmare.
