Here is a plot summary for the movie Looper: In the year 2074, time travel has been invented, but it's strictly forbidden and only accessible on the black market. The mob uses this technology to dispose of unwanted individuals, sending them back in time to be killed by "loopers," hitmen who are paid to eliminate targets. Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is a skilled looper working for the ruthless crime lord, Abe (Jeff Daniels). His services are in high demand, as he's efficient and reliable. However, things take an unexpected turn when a young boy from 30 years in the future, Cid (Ed Speleers), is sent back to 2044. The mob wants this kid dead, but Joe is given a second chance at life when he decides not to kill the boy. Instead, he raises Cid as his own, trying to protect him from those who are hunting him down. As the years pass, Joe and Cid grow close, forming an unlikely bond between a father figure and his young son. But their peaceful existence is disrupted when Abe's enforcer, Seth (Bruce Willis), appears in the past, seeking revenge against Joe for abandoning his duties as a looper.
