In the city of New York, four brothers, Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael, are struggling to find their place in the world. The once-united Turtles have grown apart since the defeat of their arch nemesis, The Shredder. As a result, their sensei and father figure, Splinter, is worried about the direction they are headed. Meanwhile, an ancient evil has awakened in the city, and it's up to the Turtles to stop it. This new threat takes the form of a powerful sorceress named Hun, who seeks to steal the magical artifacts known as the "Swords of Destiny." The Turtles must put aside their differences and work together to defeat this new enemy. As they navigate the dangers of the city, the brothers also have to confront their own personal issues. Leonardo is struggling with feelings of inadequacy, while Donatello is trying to find his place in the world as a genius inventor.
