In the quirky South Korean romantic comedy "I'm a Cyborg, but That's OK," young Goon (Lim Su-ryeon) finds herself institutionalized for her delusions of being a cyborg. This eccentric individual is convinced that she has mechanical parts implanted in her body and spends most of her time self-diagnosing and recharging with the help of a transistor radio. While at the mental institution, Young-goon becomes fascinated with Il-seung (Park Jung-bum), a fellow patient who has been admitted for his own set of psychological issues. Despite their initial animosity towards each other, they form an unlikely bond as they navigate the absurdities and eccentricities of institutional life.
