In a distant corner of the galaxy, Peter Quill, a human who was abducted as a child and raised by aliens, is living his best life as a galactic adventurer known as Star-Lord. Twenty-six years have passed since his abduction, and Quill has grown into a charismatic and confident individual with a penchant for 1970s music and a strong sense of justice. However, Quill's carefree existence is disrupted when he stumbles upon an ancient orb that holds immense power.
