Here's the plot summary of The Secret of My Success: Brantley Foster, a young and ambitious college graduate from Kansas, sets out to make a name for himself in New York City. With a degree in hand and a suitcase full of optimism, he's determined to succeed where others have failed. However, his first few days in the city quickly turn into a series of humiliating rejections, as he struggles to find a job that matches his qualifications. Undeterred by his lack of success, Brantley visits his uncle, Raymond Stark, a wealthy businessman who owns a conglomerate called Stark Industries. Hoping to cash in on his relative's influence and connections, Brantley asks for advice on how to get ahead. However, Raymond is less than impressed with the young man's naivety and lack of street smarts. In a last-ditch effort to make a good impression, Brantley decides to invent an alter ego - a high-powered executive named Carlisle Fletcher - and uses this persona to land a job at Stark Industries.
