In the dystopian future of "Zardoz", humanity has reached an impasse. The immortal Eternals, who have managed to defy mortality through advanced technology and mysticism, live in a sterile, isolated world devoid of passion or creativity. They spend their days indulging in hedonistic pursuits and intellectual endeavors, yet remain emotionally numb. Meanwhile, in the Outside World, a primitive and violent society thrives. Zed (Sebastian Flyte), a cunning and ruthless "Exterminator" trained only to kill, has grown tired of his monotonous existence. He is fascinated by the strange, futuristic contraptions that occasionally fall from the sky, hinting at the wonders beyond his primitive realm. One such device, a "Jesternote", crash-lands in the Outside World, and Zed seizes the opportunity to explore this mystical realm. He infiltrates the Eternals' community by posing as a "Blue Man" – a mythic figure from their own folklore. This disguise allows him to enter the sterile, futuristic world of the Eternals.
