As the sun sets over the British capital, President Benjamin Asher arrives in London for the state funeral of his predecessor, the Prime Minister. Accompanying him is Secret Service Agent Mike Banning, who has been assigned to protect the President during his visit. As they take their seats at Westminster Abbey, Banning can't help but feel a sense of nostalgia wash over him - it was here that he had previously protected the First Lady from harm. As the funeral procession begins, however, Banning's attention is diverted by a series of bizarre occurrences. A seemingly insignificant incident involving a lost package and an uncooperative delivery worker sets off alarm bells in his head, prompting him to go on high alert. Meanwhile, terrorist Vikram Singh, who had previously been thought to have been killed in the streets of New York during the events of Olympus Has Fallen, has somehow managed to infiltrate the city. With a team of deadly operatives at his disposal, he sets out to wreak havoc and destroy as many world leaders as possible. As the President's motorcade is ambushed and security breaches occur throughout the city, Banning finds himself racing against time to prevent catastrophe. From dodging sniper fire on the streets of Whitehall to fighting off hordes of heavily armed mercenaries in the heart of the city, he must use all his wits and training to stay one step ahead of the terrorists. But as the body count continues to rise, Banning begins to realize that there is more at play here than just a simple terrorist attack. There are hidden agendas and ulterior motives lurking beneath the surface, and he will need all his cunning and skill to uncover the truth behind the assassination plot. With the fate of the world hanging in the balance, Banning must put everything on the line to protect the President and prevent global chaos from erupting. Can he stop Vikram Singh and his cohorts before it's too late? Or will London fall victim to a terrorist attack that will be remembered for generations to come?
