In the bustling streets of Agrabah, a young orphan named Aladdin lives by his wits and wit, surviving with the help of his loyal pet monkey Abu. One day, while exploring an abandoned cave, Aladdin stumbles upon a mysterious lamp that has been hidden away for centuries. As he picks it up, a puff of smoke erupts, and out comes the Genie, a wise-cracking, fast-talking, and lovably eccentric being with incredible powers. The Genie reveals to Aladdin that he is free to make three wishes, but warns him that they must be used wisely. Meanwhile, the Grand Vizier Jafar, a power-hungry and manipulative advisor to the Sultan, becomes aware of the lamp's existence and will stop at nothing to get his hands on it. As Aladdin navigates the complexities of being a street urchin turned instant millionaire thanks to the Genie's powers, he falls for Princess Jasmine, the beautiful and independent daughter of the Sultan. However, Jafar has his own plans for the princess, intending to marry her and use her as a pawn in his quest for ultimate power.
