In the depths of rural Oregon, Blake and his wife Charlotte's marriage is on the brink of collapse. Desperate to salvage their relationship, Blake convinces Charlotte to take a break from the city and accompany him to his remote childhood home, a farmhouse nestled in the heart of the wilderness. As they arrive at the isolated homestead in the dead of night, they are suddenly attacked by a mysterious and unseen creature, forcing them to barricade themselves inside the home for safety. As the hours tick by, the creature continues to prowl the perimeter of the farmhouse, its ominous presence fuelling the growing sense of tension and unease within. However, it soon becomes apparent that the greatest threat to their safety may not be the beast lurking outside, but rather the darkness that lurks within Blake himself. As the night wears on, Blake begins to exhibit strange and unsettling behavior, his transformation from a loving husband to something unrecognizable and terrifying. His eyes take on a feral glow, his muscles bulge with an unnatural strength, and his actions become increasingly primal and menacing. Charlotte is horrified by Blake's transformation and begins to suspect that he is somehow connected to the creature that attacked them. As the full moon rises high in the sky, Blake's metamorphosis accelerates, and he is consumed by the same primal urges that drive the creature outside. The line between human and beast becomes increasingly blurred, and Charlotte is forced to confront the reality that her husband may no longer be the man she once knew. Trapped and terrified, she must now fight to survive the night and escape the clutches of the monster that Blake has become. With the creature outside closing in, and Blake's transformation complete, Charlotte is faced with a desperate choice: flee into the darkness and risk being torn apart by the monster outside, or try to reach the fading humanity within Blake and pray that he can be saved from his own primal instincts. As the night wears on, one thing becomes clear - only one of them will make it out alive.
