As the sun sets over the city, single mother Flora finds herself struggling to connect with her rebellious teenage son, Max. Despite her best efforts, she's unable to reach him, and his behavior becomes increasingly problematic. In a last-ditch effort to salvage their relationship, Flora turns to music, presenting Max with a beat-up acoustic guitar. Max is initially unimpressed, but something about the instrument resonates with him, and he begins to take it seriously. His newfound passion leads him to form an unlikely bond with Jango, a washed-up LA musician who's struggling to come to terms with his own faded fame. As Flora watches her son transform into a talented young musician, she finds herself drawn into the world of music as well. Despite her initial reservations, she begins to see the benefits of Max's newfound passion and the impact it has on their relationship. However, just as things start to look up, Jango's past comes back to haunt him in the form of a former groupie who's determined to sabotage his chances with Flora and her son. As tensions rise, Max finds himself caught in the middle, forced to choose between his loyalty to his mother and his newfound love of music. As the story unfolds, Flora must confront her own insecurities and fears to support Max and Jango on their journey towards redemption and harmony.
