Here is the movie summary: Space Cowboys (2000) is a science fiction comedy-drama film that follows the story of four veteran astronauts who are brought back to active duty in their twilight years. The protagonists, Frank Corvin ("Slinging" Sam Shepard), "Hawk" Hawkins (James Garner), Jerry O'Neill (Donald Sutherland), and "Tank" Sullivan (Scott Bakula), were once hotshot members of Project Daedalus, the Air Force's test program for space travel.
