Plot

In "Layer Cake," a stylish and suspenseful thriller, a middle-man named XXXX (played by Daniel Craig) is drawn into a complex web of drug trafficking and organized crime. XXXX, known only as "XXXX" or "J," is a ruthless yet calculated player in the game, always careful to maintain a safe distance from the product he facilitates. When a seemingly routine deal goes sour, J's carefully constructed world begins to unravel.
