Plot

In the year 2009, a group of time-traveling bounty hunters from the future are on a mission to capture a young man named Alex Finter (Emilio Estevez), a rebellious and reckless race-car driver who has escaped his fate in 1999. However, instead of bringing him back to face justice, they decide to take advantage of the situation and bring Finter to the present day. The bounty hunters' plan is to transplant Finter's mind into the body of Simon Cameron (Morgan Freeman), a terminally ill billionaire who has only six months left to live. Cameron's vast wealth and connections make him an attractive target for the bounty hunters, who stand to gain a fortune by selling his lifeless body back to his company. As Finter awakens in 2009, he is shocked to find himself in a world that is vastly different from the one he knew. He must navigate this unfamiliar environment while also struggling to come to terms with the fact that he is no longer in control of his own life. The bounty hunters, led by the ruthless and cunning Marcus Ray (Wesley Snipes), are relentless in their pursuit of Finter, who soon finds himself trapped in a desperate game of survival. As Finter tries to find a way back to his own time and reclaim his identity, he also forms an unlikely bond with Cameron's daughter, Kate (Cynthia Gibb). Together, they uncover the truth behind the bounty hunters' motives and the sinister plans that have been set in motion. In the end, Finter must confront the harsh realities of his situation and make a choice between fighting to regain control of his life or accepting his new circumstances. Will he be able to overcome the odds and find a way back home, or will he succumb to the pressures of his new reality? "Freejack" is a thrilling and thought-provoking sci-fi adventure that explores the complexities of identity, free will, and the consequences of playing with time.
